8 Miles of Beach

Spring Break is a notorious time of bad decision-making, but in Campus Crusade it's a time when every year thousands of students learn to share their faith and hundreds more place their trust in Jesus for the first time.  That makes the month of March a key time for students in the Northeast and around the country.

Much of the action takes place along an 8-mile stretch of sand in Panama City Beach, Florida.  For each of the 4 weeks in March, students spend their spring break at a Big Break Conference, learning to share their faith among the throngs of revelers on the beach.  The third week began today, and many of our staff and students from the Northeast are there.  One staff member wrote of how their students are preparing tonight:
We just had our first session and the students are praying for the
outreaches tonight.  Many of them will be prayer walking the 8 miles of
beaches to prepare for the battles that will be ahead.

Check out the video below from some of our Cornell students after the first day of Big Break:

I've linked to the Big Break Twitter feed on the right side of this page.  Follow along through that and my posts, and take a second to pray for the students who are sharing and those who will hear.  I'm excited to hear and share about what God does!
