"The Bible begins by describing a conflict between light and darkness, and ends in complete victory for the Light. We are living in the space between these two realities. You know how the story ends - you know. So are you going to play it safe with your life? Or does knowing the ending free you to live boldly, to dare greatly, because you know the end is good?" With these thoughts Keith Bubalo challenged 90 college juniors and seniors and 24 interns (and 24 staff, including me) to ask "What's next for me, God?" That's what this weekend is about: challenging college upperclassmen and interns, who are at a crossroads in their lives, to invite God to speak into the "What's next?" question in their lives.
The Preview Weekend continues all day today (Saturday) through noon on Sunday in Albany, NY. It includes lots of time for these students to consider their next steps in life, including the possibility of joining Cru Staff. I am the conference's Ops Director; it's my first time to personally take an event from initial hotel negotiations through the event's conclusion. Please pray for the details of the conference, for my energy level and especially for the students and interns involved, that the Lord would be present and speak powerfully and personally. Thank you!
