Why I Love My Job

Today I remembered why I love students and conferences so much. I'm running our Worship Arts Conference this weekend, where 20 students and staff are jamming together, praising God, and growing in their ability to lead worship as they audition for the Epicenter Band (our Winter Conference held over MLK weekend in January). It's so much fun!

Here's the thing: behind the scenes at every conference, there's a story - a subplot - of overcoming obstacles. Add students to the mix, and you have a passionate, emotionally charged, gloriously hot mess. The kids this weekend are super-talented and desire to follow Jesus with their whole heart. It's such a privilege for me to create and enter into these environments!
