Paving the Way at BU

Boston University’s campus newspaper recently ran the following article -

I love the way the Cru students at BU think about ministering to their campus.  Dorm life often seems to swing between two extremes - completely wild, out-of-control party atmosphere and feelings of total isolation and loneliness. This is particularly true for Freshman.  Students are away from home for the very first time, which can be both exhilarating and disorienting.  What a perfect opportunity for upperclassmen to care for their peers!  While I’m certain that they will share the gospel many times in this context, they are making an impact simply by their presence and their intentionality.  I suspect that the Freshman will have a more stable overall experience at BU this year, simply because of the older students on their floor who are working to create safe, loving community.   These Cru students are truly changing their campus for the better.
