How can you continue pursuing God after graduation?

In April, I participated in the second of 4 Senior Leadership Initiative (SLI) modules in San Antonio.
I haven’t spent much time in San Antonio since moving back to Texas - it was such a treat to be there
for a week.  I even got to experience a little bit of Fiesta!
Module 2 is the kickoff for one of the main pieces of SLI - the Action Learning Challenge.  Each SLI
participant is assigned to a team whose purpose is to address a particular real-life organizational
conundrum within Cru. The teams are given a budget and sponsor(s) from within Cru and proceed to
do a research project that culminates in a proposal that will be presented to a good number of Cru
national leaders at our next module coming up in Atlanta in October.  It’s exciting and also quite daunting.
My team is tackling the issue of how Cru’s campus ministry can best
prepare involved students for a lifetime of ministry after they graduate.  This is an issue that has grown
increasingly dear to my heart since I have begun working in a ministry focused on post-grads living and
working in our cities.  There are so many opportunities for Cru grads to make a huge impact wherever
the Lord chooses to plant them and it’s both exciting and humbling to potentially influence how Cru
challenges and cares for folks as they enter the real world.

My SLI Action Learning Team: Tim Ehrhart, Luke Middendorf,
Young Lee, and Shana Powell (back row); Amanda , Sandi Ireland, Me (front row)
Please pray for our team as we will be spending our summer researching this issue.  Pray that the
Lord gives us stamina, clarity, and creativity as we seek to build on the work of those who have gone
before us.
