Ministry in pictures

Kat, a first-year photography intern on the Regional Ops Team I manage, sent an email a few weeks ago letting the staff in Boston know that she is available to photograph events. The response has been tremendous! It has been a valuable experience for Kat, and she has gotten more of a bird's eye view of campus ministry in Boston:

"I've been sent to photograph Campus Crusade ministries in action across Boston. Themajority of events have been activities fairs, where university clubs advertise themselves. Real Life Boston - the Campus Crusade group that covers the Boston metro area - uses these opportunities to inform students about CCC on their campuses and to reach out to students with free water bottles, bags, books about Jesus, and spiritual surveys. Hundreds of freshmen have written down their email addresses, requesting more information about Real Life meetings. On the UMass Boston campus, for instance, 63 students responded "yes" to the question Would you like to learn more about Real Life Christian Fellowship? over the course of only one hour! Faith, a Real Life staff member, told me 'This is phenomenal. There's never been interest like this before. God is truly doing something this year!'"

You can see more of Kat's photos by clicking here. Look for a cool story related to one of her pictures in our September/October prayer letter, coming soon!
