Big Break News

Cristina, our Conferences and Events Coordinator, went to Big Break last week with a group of 50 students from Boston campuses (there were 150+ there from the Northeast).  Here's a snippet of what she had to say:
The entire week was faith stretching for sure as myself and the students were challenged during or morning and night sessions to approach people who were -10's meaning that by all appearances that person seemed the least likely to engage in a spiritual conversations, because we never know where that person is on their own spiritual journey and Matt Mikalatos (our main speakers) threw out this question: "how much do you have to hate someone to not share the Gospel?". Well we took it to heart and in faith over 1,100 students from across the country engaged in 5,900 spiritual conversations2,323 heard the Gospel209 accepted Christ, and 437 people who were believers already heard about the power of the Holy Spirit!  Praise the Lord!
Cornell is at Panama City Beach this week, along with a group from MIT and others.  I recently posted a 2010 video from Cornell students.  Their 2011 videos are a little longer, but give you a great sense of the community and experience of the students.  Check out the one below!
